Get to know Lotus Peak



Lian Hua Peak (Lotus Peak last minute China travel deals) has an elevation of over 1873 meters. Its shape resembles a lotus blossom, giving the peak its name. The "blossom" is over ten feet in width. There is a small pool located in the middle of the "blossom" named Moon Pool. From the apex, visitors can see thousands peaks and numerous ravines in the misty clouds. Great Wall at Huangya Pass
The Great Wall at Huangyaguan (Huangyaguan changcheng China vacation deals) geographically belongs to Ji County at the very northern tip of the Tianjin Municipality and is some 28km north of Jixian County Town.The pass, the only one of its kind in Ji County, contains the section of the the Great Wall that extends northward to Hebei Province. During the sunset, the pass looks even more imposing with the steep slopes on both sides. Eastern Qing Mausoleum

Like the Western Qing Mausoleums are the sacred burial grounds of Qing emperors, empresses and imperial concubines. The construction of the tombs was begun in the second year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1663). The main Mausoleums include those of the following emperors, here listed with their reign periods: Shunzhi (1644-1661), Kangxi (1662-1722), Qianlong (1736-1796), Xianfeng (1851-1861), Tongzhi (1862-1875), and Empress Dowager Cixi (died 1908). In addition, four Mausoleums containing the remains of 136 imperial concubines and one Mausoleum for princesses are also located here.

What to see in Changsha

Mawangdui Han Tombs

Located in the eastern suburb of Changsha City affordable China tours, the world famous Mawangdui Han Tombs is one of the most fascinating attractions in Hunan Province. It is no exaggeration to say that the Mawangdui Han Tombs is an open book to the glorious West Han Dynasty (206BC-24). All three tombs were excavated between 1972 and 1974. Silk books, with more than one hundred thousand Chinese characters are rare historical artifacts. The content deals with ancient philosophy, history, science, technology, medicine and many other aspects.

Yueyang Tower

Yueyang Tower is one of the Three Great Towers south of the Yangzi ( Yangtze River tour along with the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan and Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang). On the eastern banks of Dongting Lake, the terraces of the tower provide stunning views of the waters below. Hengshan Mountain

Hengshan Mountain, named the Southern Mountain of the Five Sacred Mountains, is located in Hengyang County top 10 China tours, the middle part of Hunan Province.
